Question 1

Which Audi models carry the zero-emission or ECO label?

Accepted Answer

Fully electric e-tron models always carry the zero label, as do plug-in hybrids with at least 40 km of electric range. Plug-ins with less range, and some mild hybrids, get ECO. The label belongs to each registration, so check the plate on the DGT website.

Question 2

Is Audi quattro worth having in Spain?

Accepted Answer

On dry southern and coastal roads few drivers need it, but it helps in mountain areas and in winter in the north and centre. It adds weight and fuel consumption, and on transverse-engined models such as the A3 and Q3 its multi-plate clutch needs periodic fluid changes.

Question 3

Can an Audi be serviced outside the official network?

Accepted Answer

Yes: many independent workshops in Spain work on Audis, because most mechanical parts are shared with Volkswagen, SEAT, Skoda and Cupra. Keep the invoices, since a complete service record counts when you sell.

Question 4

What warranty comes with a used Audi?

Accepted Answer

A dealer selling to a consumer in Spain must give a guarantee of at least one year on a used car. A private seller gives none beyond liability for hidden defects, so an inspection before buying matters more.
