Was the Audi Q5 2.0 TDI affected by the diesel emissions recall?

Yes, first-generation Q5s with the EA189 2.0 TDI were included and received a software update at Audi workshops. Ask for proof that the update was carried out before you buy.

Which DGT label does a diesel Audi Q5 carry?

A Euro 6 diesel Q5, which covers the second generation and late first-generation cars, carries the C label. Earlier Euro 5 diesels get B, which some low-emission zones already restrict.

Does the diesel Audi Q5 use AdBlue?

Second-generation diesels do, through an SCR system with its own tank that needs topping up. Ignore the warnings until it runs dry and the engine will not restart, so check the level on a test drive.
