Is the Multitronic gearbox in the Audi A6 reliable?

It is the weakest of the three, especially on high-mileage C7s from before the 2014 facelift. Judder when pulling away or a slipping feel calls for a specialist check, and a documented fluid change helps.

Which Audi A6 has the tiptronic rather than the S tronic?

On the C7, the eight-speed tiptronic torque converter came mainly with the more powerful 3.0 TDI quattro engines. On the C8 it serves the 45 and 50 TDI V6 diesels, while four-cylinder versions use the S tronic.

What DGT environmental label does an automatic Audi A6 get?

Petrol A6s registered from 2006 and Euro 6 diesels normally carry the C label. Some C8 versions with mild-hybrid technology may carry the ECO label, which you can confirm with the number plate on the DGT website.
