Which engine is best in a used Volkswagen Taigo?

The 110 hp 1.0 TSI suits most drivers, with modest consumption and enough pace on the motorway. The 150 hp 1.5 TSI, sold only with the DSG, suits those who travel loaded or cover long distances.

Is the DSG gearbox in the Volkswagen Taigo reliable?

The Taigo's seven-speed DSG uses dry clutches, which can judder when manoeuvring and in stop-start traffic. On a test drive, check that it pulls away smoothly and shifts without hesitation from cold.

What is the difference between the Volkswagen Taigo and the T-Cross?

They share the platform, engines and much of the cabin, but the Taigo has a lower roof and a coupé-style rear. It gains style and gives up some rear headroom.
