Is the e-CVT in the Toyota Yaris hybrid reliable?

Yes, it is a planetary gearset with no clutch or belt, so there is little to wear out. The engine revving hard under full throttle is normal for this kind of transmission.

Is the Toyota Yaris MMT a true automatic?

No, the MMT is a manual gearbox with an actuator working the clutch, giving slow and slightly jerky shifts. The clutch actuator is the part to check on a used car.

What is the difference between Multidrive S and e-CVT on the Toyota Yaris?

Multidrive S is a belt CVT fitted to the petrol-only engines; e-CVT is the hybrid transmission that combines the engine and the electric motor. Neither has a clutch pedal.
