Which automatic gearbox do Jaguars use?

The Jaguar XE, XF, XJ, F-Pace and F-Type use ZF's eight-speed torque-converter automatic. The E-Pace has a nine-speed automatic, also from ZF.

Is the Jaguar ZF eight-speed gearbox reliable?

It is one of the toughest automatics on the market and is also used by several German brands. Harsh shifts or hesitation when engaging a gear call for a diagnosis, and a documented gearbox oil change is a good sign.

Does the Jaguar I-Pace have an automatic gearbox?

The I-Pace is electric and uses a single-speed reduction gear with no gearbox. It drives like an automatic, with no clutch and no gear changes.
