Is the Citroën C3 SensoDrive a manual?

No: SensoDrive is an automated manual with no clutch pedal, slow gear changes and an actuator that can fail. A C3 sold as a manual should have three pedals.

What manual gearbox does the Citroën C3 1.2 PureTech have?

The 68 to 83 hp versions use a five-speed manual. The 110 hp turbo got a six-speed manual, more relaxed on the motorway.

Is a manual Citroën C3 cheaper to run than an automatic?

Usually yes: a manual only needs a clutch and oil, while the EAT6 automatic in the later C3 and the older automated units cost more to repair. On a manual C3, check the clutch does not slip and gears engage quietly.
