Is the manual or automatic Nissan Juke better used?

The manual Nissan Juke avoids the first generation's CVT and the second generation's dual-clutch, both of which need more care with age. It also costs less to maintain, as a clutch is cheaper to replace than an automatic gearbox.

What should I check on a manual Nissan Juke?

Check the clutch bite point and listen for rattles at idle, especially on the 1.5 dCi, whose dual-mass flywheel can wear. On the 1.6 DIG-T, a heavy right foot shows in worn clutches and tyres.

Is there a four-wheel-drive manual Nissan Juke?

No, the four-wheel-drive first-generation Juke came only with the 1.6 DIG-T and the CVT automatic. Every manual Juke is front-wheel drive.

First-generation cars paired it with the 1.6, the turbocharged DIG-T engines and the 1.5 dCi diesel; the second generation's 1.0 DIG-T comes with a six-speed manual that suits its small turbo.
