Used Fiat 500 with a manual gearbox in France

Found 3,860 cars

From €1,499 to €103,692, half under €9,290 · Typically 2018 with 68,298 km. On a petrol Fiat 500 the manual is the norm: five speeds on the 1.2 and TwinAir, six on the 1.0 Hybrid launched in 2020. It is simpler and cheaper to keep than the Dualogic automated gearbox, and copes well with town driving.

Which engine is best in a manual Fiat 500?

The 69 hp 1.2 is the most common and the simplest, with its cambelt the main item to keep up to date. The 1.0 Hybrid from 2020 uses a little less fuel, and the TwinAir has character but drinks more than its official figures suggest.

Is a manual Fiat 500 better than the Dualogic?

For reliability, yes: the Dualogic automated gearbox is known for clutch wear and actuator faults, while the manual is simple and cheap to run. Still check the clutch on a car that has spent its life in town.

What paperwork comes with a used Fiat 500 sold in France?

The seller hands over the certificat d'immatriculation (carte grise) and, for a car over four years old, a recent contrôle technique. A petrol 500 registered from 2011 normally qualifies for the Crit'Air 1 sticker.
