Which petrol engine should I choose on a DS?

The PureTech 130 is enough for a DS 3 or DS 4 in mixed driving. On the DS 7 and DS 9, the 180 or 225 hp 1.6 PureTech with the EAT8 gearbox gives the refinement these models call for.

Is the PureTech 1.2 in the DS 3 and DS 4 reliable?

It is economical, but its oil-bathed timing belt can break down and block the lubrication system. Ask when it was last replaced and for the service history.

Which Crit'Air sticker does a petrol DS get?

A petrol DS registered from 2011 onwards gets Crit'Air 1, the best class for a combustion engine. As DS became a brand in its own right in 2015, almost every model falls into that class.
