Which is better on a used DS 7, the BlueHDi 130 or the BlueHDi 180?

The BlueHDi 130 is enough for most family driving and has a lower fiscal horsepower rating, which keeps the carte grise cheaper. The BlueHDi 180 pulls noticeably harder when towing or fully loaded, and came only with the EAT8 automatic.

What goes wrong on a DS 7 BlueHDi?

The AdBlue system is the part to watch: pump and tank faults are a known issue on Stellantis BlueHDi engines. A car used mostly for short trips can also clog its particulate filter, so ask how it was driven.

Can a diesel DS 7 still enter French cities?

A diesel DS 7 carries the Crit'Air 2 sticker, and each city's low-emission zone sets which stickers it admits and from when. Check the rules in the cities you drive into before buying a diesel for urban use.
