Question 1

Do you need to charge a Dacia hybrid?

Accepted Answer

No. The battery is charged by the petrol engine and by braking, so there is no socket and no cable. That makes it a practical choice for drivers without a home charger.

Question 2

Which Crit'Air sticker does a hybrid Dacia get?

Accepted Answer

As a recent petrol car, it gets the Crit'Air 1 sticker. That is the best rating a car with a combustion engine can have, which matters wherever a low-emission zone applies.

Question 3

What should I check on the Dacia E-Tech gearbox?

Accepted Answer

Drive the car from cold and in slow traffic: the multimode gearbox should pull away and change gear without jolts. Ask whether software updates have been applied, as they refine how the engine and the electric motors hand over.

Question 4

What paperwork comes with a used Dacia in France?

Accepted Answer

The seller hands over the certificat d'immatriculation, the carte grise, signed and dated, and the buyer registers the car in their own name. If it is over four years old, a contrôle technique less than six months old is also required.
