Is the Citroën C3 1.2 PureTech reliable?

The 1.2 PureTech is economical, but its timing belt runs in oil and can degrade early, shedding debris that starves the engine of oil. Choose a C3 with documented belt inspections or a replacement, and watch for high oil consumption.

Which Crit'Air sticker does a petrol Citroën C3 get?

A Euro 5 or Euro 6 petrol C3, which means one registered from 2011, gets the Crit'Air 1 sticker. That is the best sticker a combustion engine can earn in French low-emission zones.

Should I buy a petrol or diesel Citroën C3?

Petrol suits most C3 owners, whose short urban trips a diesel's particle filter dislikes. A diesel only pays off with high yearly mileage, and the C3 launched in 2024 no longer offers one.
