Which petrol engine is best in a used Audi A1?

The 1.0 TFSI three-cylinder, badged 25 or 30 TFSI on the second generation, suits town driving, while the 1.5 TFSI of the 35 TFSI is the better all-rounder on fast roads. The 40 TFSI and the S1 are for buyers who want performance.

What are the weak points of the early Audi A1 1.2 and 1.4 TFSI?

On first-generation cars from the early 2010s, the 1.2 and 1.4 TFSI could suffer timing chain stretch, heard as a rattle on cold starts. Ask whether the chain and tensioner have been replaced.

What Crit'Air sticker does a petrol Audi A1 get?

Almost every petrol A1 gets the Crit'Air 1 sticker, since the model arrived in 2010 with Euro 5 engines. It is the best rating a combustion car can have in French low-emission zones.
