How long is the Smart fortwo?

The Smart fortwo is about 2.7 metres long in the 451 and 453 generations; the first, the 450, was shorter still. That lets it park nose-in where other cars have to parallel park.

What are the differences between Smart fortwo generations?

The 450 was sold from 1998 to 2007, the 451 from 2007 to 2014 and the 453 from 2014, sharing its base with the Renault Twingo. Each generation gained space and comfort, and the 453 brought a manual or dual-clutch gearbox.

What should you check on a Smart fortwo cabrio roof?

The fabric roof should open and close without noises or stalls, and the seals should be intact. Water getting into the cabin is the fault to look for before buying.
