Is the Renault Clio 1.5 dCi reliable?

Yes, the 1.5 dCi is one of the most widespread and durable small diesels when serviced on time. Older versions are sensitive to late oil changes, which can wear the crankshaft bearings.

Does the diesel Renault Clio need AdBlue?

Only the Clio V's Blue dCi uses AdBlue, topped up through its own filler. The dCi engines of the Clio III and IV do not.

Is a diesel Renault Clio worth it for city driving?

It pays off mostly over long distances: on short trips the particulate filter cannot regenerate and may clog. For town driving, a petrol or hybrid Clio is usually the better fit.
