What changed on the 2020 Mercedes A-Class compared with 2019?

The main news for 2020 was the A 250 e plug-in hybrid, as hatchback and saloon, while the rest of the range barely changed. A 2019 and a 2020 A-Class with the same engine are therefore practically the same car.

Which engine should I choose in a 2019 Mercedes A-Class?

The 1.5-litre A 180 d is the most economical, the A 200 d adds more pull and the 8G-DCT gearbox to low consumption, and the petrol A 200 suits mostly urban driving. The AMG A 35 and A 45 are aimed at a different buyer.

Which inspections has a 2019 Mercedes A-Class already had?

A car first registered in 2019 must have passed the IPO inspection at four years old and returns every two years until it is eight. Ask for the certificates to check the mileage recorded at each inspection.
