Hyundai i10 or i20: which should I choose?

The Hyundai i10 is shorter and cheaper to run, ideal for town; the i20 has more rear space, a bigger boot and is happier on the motorway. For a small family, the i20 is more versatile.

Is the Hyundai i10 a good first car?

Yes, the Hyundai i10 is a good first car: simple, cheap to run and easy to drive. Newer ones may still be covered by Hyundai's five-year warranty, which passes to the new owner.

Do small Hyundais come with an automatic?

Yes, depending on the generation: the Hyundai i10 had a conventional automatic and later an AMT automated manual, and the i20 conventional and dual-clutch automatics. Try them, as the AMT is the least smooth.
