Many Zoes were sold with the battery on a monthly rental, separate from the car. Ask the seller for the contract or proof of battery purchase, as the rental passes to the new owner and can be bought out.

Which Renault Zoe version should I buy used?

The Z.E. 50, from 2019, has the largest battery and can come with CCS rapid DC charging. The Z.E. 40 is enough for daily use, while 22 kWh cars suit mainly town driving.
