Which petrol engine should I choose on a Mercedes CLA?

The 1.3 turbo in the C118's CLA 180 and 200 is enough for everyday use and stays frugal, while the CLA 250's 2.0 adds far stronger pulling power. The CLA 35 and 45 AMG aim at performance, with 4MATIC drive.

Which Crit'Air sticker does a petrol Mercedes CLA get?

A petrol CLA gets the Crit'Air 1 sticker, since every version meets Euro 5 or Euro 6. It can therefore enter low-emission zones where a diesel CLA is rated Crit'Air 2.

Is the petrol Mercedes CLA available with a manual gearbox?

Yes, the petrol CLA 180 and 200 were offered with a six-speed manual, but most have the 7G-DCT. The CLA 250 and the AMGs are automatic only.
