Is the Ford Mondeo hybrid reliable?

The Mondeo hybrid pairs a 2.0 petrol engine with an electric motor and a continuously variable automatic, a simple and durable layout. It needs no plugging in and gets a Crit'Air 1 sticker, but its battery takes some boot space.

Is the Ford Mondeo still sold new?

No, Ford stopped selling the Mondeo in Europe in 2022, so every Mondeo in France is now a used car. Parts remain available through Ford's network, as many components are shared with other models.

What should I check on a used diesel Ford Mondeo?

Check the particulate filter and, on EcoBlue engines, the AdBlue system, as both suffer if the car mostly did short trips. Also ask for the timing belt history, since the Mondeo's diesels use a belt rather than a chain.
