Used diesel Ford Transit vans in France

Found 1,398 cars

From €1,200 to €92,160, half under €19,990 · Typically 2021 with 80,500 km. Diesel powers almost every Transit, as payload and long working days favour its torque and range. The 2.2 TDCi gave way in 2016 to the 2.0 EcoBlue, which uses AdBlue and gained a mild-hybrid option in 2019; front-, rear- and all-wheel drive suit different loads.

What should I check on a Ford Transit 2.0 EcoBlue?

Ask whether the belt that drives the oil pump, which runs inside the engine, has been inspected or replaced, as failures affected some early engines. Check also that the AdBlue system shows no warnings, since a fault can limit the engine's power.

Can I drive a Ford Transit diesel with a car licence in France?

Yes, as long as its gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3.5 tonnes, which a B licence covers. Heavier Transit versions of up to 4.7 tonnes need a C1 licence; the weight is shown on the carte grise.

Which Crit'Air sticker does a diesel Ford Transit get?

A Euro 5 or Euro 6 diesel Transit, roughly any registered from 2012, gets the Crit'Air 2 sticker; older Euro 4 vans get Crit'Air 3. Low-emission zone rules vary between French cities, which matters for vans making deliveries.
