Used automatic Ford Mustang in France

Found 1,216 cars

From €2,000 to €197,000, half under €38,500 · Typically 2016 with 57,950 km. An automatic suits the Mustang's grand-touring side and spares the driver a heavy clutch in city traffic. Cars from 2015 to 2017 use a six-speed automatic; the 2018 facelift brought a ten-speed unit, kept in the seventh generation from 2024.

Is the Ford Mustang ten-speed automatic reliable?

It is generally robust, though some owners of early cars reported abrupt shifts at low speed that software updates corrected. On a test drive, check that it changes smoothly when cold and when accelerating gently.

Is an automatic Ford Mustang slower than a manual?

No: the ten-speed automatic matches or beats the six-speed manual on acceleration, thanks to its close ratios and fast shifts. The manual appeals to those who want a more involving drive, and the Bullitt was only sold with it.

How is an automatic Ford Mustang taxed when registered in France?

The carte grise is charged per fiscal horsepower at a rate set by each region, and a Mustang has a high rating, especially the V8. A car imported from abroad also pays the malus écologique at its first French registration, reduced according to its age.
