Question 1

How far does a Dacia Spring go on a charge?

Accepted Answer

Its battery is small, so the Spring is happiest in town, where it uses least energy. On fast roads and in winter the range drops noticeably, and buyers who regularly drive long distances usually find it too limiting.

Question 2

Can every Spring use a fast charger?

Accepted Answer

No. DC fast charging through a CCS socket was an option, so many cars can only charge on AC from a wallbox or a public post. A look under the charging flap before you buy settles it.

Question 3

Is a used Dacia Spring's battery still under warranty?

Accepted Answer

Dacia covers the Spring's battery for eight years or 120,000 km, whichever comes first, and the cover passes to the next owner. A battery health (SoH) certificate tells you how much capacity is left.

Question 4

Which Crit'Air sticker and paperwork does a Dacia Spring need in France?

Accepted Answer

As an electric car the Spring gets the green Crit'Air 0 sticker, which opens every low-emission zone. A Spring over four years old must come with a contrôle technique under six months old, along with the signed carte grise.
