Is a manual or DSG SEAT Arona better?

The manual is cheaper to buy and to maintain, and suits drivers who mostly cover open roads. The DSG makes town driving easier, but a dual-clutch fault costs more to fix than a conventional clutch.

Does the manual SEAT Arona have five or six gears?

It depends on the engine: the lower-powered 1.0 TSI uses a five-speed gearbox, while the stronger versions have six. The sixth gear makes motorway cruising quieter and more economical.

What should I check on a used manual SEAT Arona?

Make sure every gear engages without effort and that the clutch does not slip on a hill or with a loaded car. Many Aronas are driven mainly in town, which wears the clutch faster.
