What should I check on a used Opel from the Aveiro coast?

Salt air from the Ria and the beaches speeds up corrosion, so check the underside, the brake discs and the suspension mounts. An Opel kept in a garage is usually in far better shape than one parked outside by the sea.

How can I get a used Opel checked before buying in Aveiro?

Arrange with the seller to take the car to a trusted mechanic or an Opel specialist in the district. Ask for the latest IPO inspection report too, which lists any faults recorded.

How do I transfer ownership of an Opel bought in Aveiro?

Seller and buyer sign the registration request, which is filed online or at a Registo Automóvel office. At a dealer, the seller usually handles the registration.
