Question 1

Which versions does the new Volkswagen T-Cross come in?

Accepted Answer

The new T-Cross is sold with the 1.0 TSI in 95 hp form with a manual gearbox, and in 116 hp form with a manual or DSG. The Urban comes with both engines, and the R-Line with the 116 hp engine and DSG.

Question 2

Volkswagen T-Cross or Taigo: which to choose?

Accepted Answer

They share the Polo's underpinnings and 1.0 TSI engines, but the T-Cross is taller and has a sliding rear bench that enlarges the boot when needed. The Taigo trades some of that versatility for a coupé roofline.

Question 3

Does the Volkswagen T-Cross come with an automatic gearbox?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the T-Cross with the 116 hp 1.0 TSI is available with the DSG automatic, in Urban and R-Line trims. The 95 hp engine comes with a manual only.

Question 4

How much ISV and IUC does a new Volkswagen T-Cross pay?

Accepted Answer

The T-Cross pays ISV at first registration and IUC every year, both based on engine size and CO2 emissions. With its small one-litre three-cylinder, it is among the petrol SUVs that pay least.
