Question 1

Which versions does the new Volkswagen Polo come in?

Accepted Answer

The new Polo is sold only with the 95 hp 1.0 TSI petrol engine. There is the Urban with a manual or DSG gearbox, and the R-Line with a manual.

Question 2

What is the difference between the Volkswagen Polo Urban and R-Line?

Accepted Answer

The engine is the same; the R-Line stands out with a sporty look, including its own bumpers, wheels and interior details. The Urban is the entry trim and the only one offered with the DSG automatic.

Question 3

Volkswagen Polo or ID. Polo: which to choose?

Accepted Answer

The Polo is the petrol supermini and needs no charging, while the ID. Polo is Volkswagen's electric alternative, charged from a socket. The electric car is exempt from ISV and IUC, which counts in its favour for anyone who can charge at home.

Question 4

How much ISV and IUC does a new Volkswagen Polo pay?

Accepted Answer

The Polo 1.0 TSI pays ISV at first registration and IUC every year, both based on engine size and CO2 emissions. With a small three-cylinder engine, it is among the petrol cars that pay least in both taxes.
