Question 1

Which new Toyota diesels are sold in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

The new Toyota diesels in Portugal are the ProAce and ProAce City vans and the Land Cruiser off-roader. The vans come with manual or automatic gearboxes, and the Land Cruiser is always automatic.

Question 2

Is the new Toyota Land Cruiser diesel only?

Accepted Answer

In Portugal, the new Toyota Land Cruiser is sold with a diesel engine and an automatic gearbox. It is Toyota's only diesel passenger car, built for towing and off-road use, with four-wheel drive.

Question 3

Toyota ProAce or ProAce City diesel?

Accepted Answer

The Toyota ProAce City is the compact van, easy to use in town, and the ProAce is the mid-size van, for more load volume. Both are sold new as diesels and in electric versions too.

Question 4

What ISV and IUC does a new Toyota diesel pay?

Accepted Answer

On a new Toyota diesel, ISV uses the steeper CO₂ table for diesel engines and is normally included in the list price. Annual IUC adds a diesel surcharge for passenger cars, and for a van it depends on how it is registered.
