Question 1

Which new Tesla models are sold in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

Tesla sells the Model 3, a saloon, and the Model Y, an SUV, in Portugal, both fully electric. Each comes in rear-wheel drive, Premium Long Range with rear- or all-wheel drive, and Performance.

Question 2

How do you buy a new Tesla in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

A new Tesla is bought directly from the brand, online or at a Tesla store, with no dealers in between. The price is Tesla's list price, the same for every buyer.

Question 3

How much does a new Tesla cost?

Accepted Answer

A new Tesla ranges from the rear-wheel-drive versions to the Performance ones, depending on model and version. Being electric, it carries no ISV, and the price includes VAT (IVA).

Question 4

Does a new Tesla pay ISV and IUC?

Accepted Answer

No: Teslas are fully electric and exempt from both ISV and IUC. Companies can also deduct the VAT on an electric passenger car up to a price ceiling.

Question 5

Is a new Tesla worth it over one a few years old?

Accepted Answer

A new Tesla brings the refreshed version of each model and the full factory warranty, including the longer battery and drive-unit cover. In exchange, a new electric car depreciates most in its first years.
