Question 1

Which new Opel petrol cars are sold in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

The new Opel petrol cars in Portugal are the Corsa, the Astra and Astra Sports Tourer, the Mokka, the Frontera and the Grandland. Most versions are automatic Hybrids, and the Corsa and Mokka also come as pure petrol versions with a manual gearbox.

Question 2

What is an Opel Hybrid?

Accepted Answer

An Opel Hybrid is a mild hybrid: the turbo petrol engine is helped by a small electric motor, with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. It is never plugged in and counts as petrol in Opel's price list, with 110 or 145 hp depending on the version.

Question 3

How much does a new Opel petrol car cost?

Accepted Answer

A new Opel petrol car ranges from the Corsa 1.2 Turbo with 100 hp and a manual gearbox, the entry point, to the best-equipped Hybrid SUVs. Within each model the price rises with power, gearbox and trim.

Question 4

What ISV and IUC does a new Opel petrol car pay?

Accepted Answer

ISV on a new Opel petrol car depends on engine size and CO₂ emissions and is normally included in the list price. The annual IUC follows the same criteria, and the Hybrid versions, with lower CO₂, tend to pay less than the manuals.
