Question 1

Which new Opel models are sold in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

Opel sells the Corsa, the Astra and Astra Sports Tourer, the Mokka, Frontera and Grandland SUVs, and the Combo, Vivaro and Zafira Life vans and people carriers in Portugal. Depending on the model, there are petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric versions.

Question 2

Does every new Opel have an electric version?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every new Opel model on sale in Portugal has at least one electric version, from the Corsa to the Combo and Vivaro vans. The Corsa and Mokka also come as the GSE, the sporty electric version. A new electric Opel pays neither ISV nor IUC.

Question 3

What is the difference between Opel's Edition, GS and GSE trims?

Accepted Answer

At Opel, Edition is the entry trim on most models, and GS adds sportier styling and more equipment. GSE is the high-performance electric version, offered on the Corsa and Mokka.

Question 4

Should I buy a new or second-hand Opel?

Accepted Answer

A new Opel comes with the full factory warranty and the exact version you want, including the latest electric ones. The cost is the first years' depreciation, which on a second-hand car the first owner has already absorbed.
