Question 1

Which powertrains does the new Opel Corsa have?

Accepted Answer

The new Opel Corsa comes with the 100 hp 1.2 Turbo petrol and a 6-speed manual, the 110 or 145 hp Hybrid with a dual-clutch automatic, and the 136 or 156 hp Corsa Electric. At the top sits the electric Corsa GSE, with 281 hp.

Question 2

Opel Corsa Hybrid or Corsa Electric: which should I choose?

Accepted Answer

The Opel Corsa Hybrid is a petrol mild hybrid that never needs charging, which suits drivers with nowhere to plug in. The Corsa Electric needs charging at home or at work, but pays neither ISV nor IUC and costs less to run.

Question 3

How much does a new Opel Corsa cost?

Accepted Answer

A new Opel Corsa ranges from the manual 1.2 Turbo, the entry version, to the electric Corsa GSE at the top. In between, the price rises with powertrain and trim, from Edition to GS.

Question 4

Should I buy a new or second-hand Opel Corsa?

Accepted Answer

A new Opel Corsa comes with the full factory warranty and the choice of petrol, Hybrid or electric in the current generation. A second-hand Corsa has already taken the first years' depreciation, but rarely offers the same choice of recent versions.
