Question 1

Which new Nissan diesels are sold in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

The only new Nissan diesel in Portugal is the Primastar, a mid-size van. The brand's SUVs and cars are petrol, hybrid or electric.

Question 2

Is the Nissan Primastar the same as the Renault Trafic?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Nissan Primastar is built alongside the Renault Trafic and shares its platform and diesel engines. It differs in its front end, equipment and Nissan service network.

Question 3

Nissan Primastar manual or automatic?

Accepted Answer

Most new Nissan Primastar versions have a manual gearbox, and there is an automatic as well. The automatic spares the driver in town and in stop-start delivery work, while the manual is the usual fleet choice.

Question 4

What ISV and IUC does a new Nissan Primastar pay?

Accepted Answer

ISV and IUC on a new Nissan Primastar depend on whether it is registered for goods or passengers, and on its weight and emissions. As a goods van, it follows different rules from a passenger car.
