Question 1

Which versions of the new MG4 EV are available?

Accepted Answer

The new MG4 EV is sold as the Luxury with a 64 kWh battery and 190cv, the Luxury Long Range with 77 kWh and 245cv, and the XPOWER with 64 kWh and 435cv. Both Luxury versions have one motor and rear-wheel drive; the XPOWER has two motors and all-wheel drive.

Question 2

How much does a new MG4 EV cost?

Accepted Answer

A new MG4 EV ranges from the 64 kWh Luxury, the entry version, to the XPOWER at the top of the range. The Long Range's bigger battery and the XPOWER's twin motors are what raise the list price most.

Question 3

Which MG4 EV should I choose: Luxury, Long Range or XPOWER?

Accepted Answer

The MG4 EV Luxury is enough for drivers who mostly make daily trips and charge at home. The Long Range, with its 77 kWh battery, suits drivers who travel long distances, and the 435cv XPOWER is the performance choice.

Question 4

Does a new MG4 EV pay ISV and IUC in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

No: as an electric car, the new MG4 EV is exempt from ISV at registration and from the annual IUC. What remains is the cost of electricity, lowest when charging at home.
