Question 1

What engines does the new Mercedes C-Class have?

Accepted Answer

The new C-Class is sold with a petrol engine (C 250, 218 PS), a diesel (C 250 d, 200 PS), two plug-in hybrids (C 300 e with 326 PS and C 400 e 4MATIC with 394 PS) and an electric version (C 400 4MATIC, 489 PS). Every one is automatic, and the combustion and hybrid versions come as saloon or estate.

Question 2

How much does a new Mercedes C-Class cost?

Accepted Answer

The price of a new C-Class runs from the entry petrol or diesel version to the 4MATIC plug-in hybrids and the electric version at the top. It changes with the engine, the body and the equipment chosen.

Question 3

What taxes does a new Mercedes C-Class pay in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

A new C-Class pays ISV once, at its first registration in Portugal, and IUC every year, both worked out from engine size and CO2 emissions. The electric version is exempt from both, and a plug-in hybrid that meets the legal electric-range and emissions limits pays a reduced ISV.

Question 4

Is it worth buying a new Mercedes C-Class?

Accepted Answer

Buying new brings the full factory warranty and exactly the engine, body and equipment you choose, including the electric version. In return, a new car loses value fastest in its first years.
