Question 1

Which engines does the new Range Rover offer?

Accepted Answer

The new Range Rover offers the mild-hybrid diesels D250 with 249 hp, D300 with 300 hp and D350 with 350 hp, and the petrol P380 with 380 hp and P540 with 537 hp. There are also the plug-in hybrids P460e with 460 hp and P550e with 550 hp, and the electric EV450 with 450 hp and EV550 with 550 hp, with a 118.5 kWh battery.

Question 2

Which trims does the new Range Rover come in?

Accepted Answer

Range Rover trims climb from SE to HSE and Autobiography, with the SV at the top, also as SV Black and SV Ultra. The Westminster Edition is a special series, and the electric model also has a launch First Edition.

Question 3

Does the electric Range Rover pay ISV and IUC?

Accepted Answer

No: the electric Range Rover, like any fully electric car, is exempt from ISV at first registration and from the annual IUC. On the combustion versions ISV weighs heavily, since it rises with engine size and CO2 emissions.

Question 4

What is the difference between the standard Range Rover and the LWB?

Accepted Answer

The Range Rover LWB has a longer wheelbase, with more rear legroom, and is the only one offered with seven seats. It comes with diesel, petrol, plug-in hybrid and electric powertrains.

Question 5

Is a new Range Rover worth it over one a few years old?

Accepted Answer

A new Range Rover comes with the full factory warranty and lets you specify engine, wheelbase, trim and options. On the other hand, a luxury SUV at this level loses a lot of value in its first years.
