Question 1

Which new electric Kias are sold in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

Kia's new electric models are the EV2, EV3, EV4, EV5, EV6 and EV9, plus the PV5 van. They run from the small EV2 SUV to the large three-row EV9, and the EV4 comes as a hatchback or a saloon.

Question 2

What is the difference between the Kia EV3 and EV5?

Accepted Answer

The Kia EV3 is a compact SUV, suited to town and to buyers stepping up from a small car, while the EV5 is a larger family SUV. Both are fully electric and share the EV family's design language.

Question 3

Does a new electric Kia pay ISV and IUC?

Accepted Answer

No: every electric Kia is exempt from ISV and IUC, being fully electric. Companies can also deduct the VAT on an electric passenger car up to a price ceiling.

Question 4

What battery warranty does an electric Kia have?

Accepted Answer

An electric Kia carries the brand's seven-year factory warranty, which also covers the traction battery, subject to a mileage limit. It is a strong reason to buy new rather than an electric car a few years old.
