Question 1

Which new Hyundai hybrids are on sale in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

The new Hyundai hybrids on sale in Portugal are the Kona, the Tucson and the Santa Fe, all SUVs. Every one has an automatic gearbox and combines a petrol engine with an electric motor. Within each model the versions differ mainly in equipment.

Question 2

How much does a new Hyundai hybrid cost?

Accepted Answer

A new Hyundai hybrid ranges from the entry Kona to the best-equipped Santa Fe. Within each model the price rises with trim and powertrain, and every version's list price comes from Hyundai's official price list.

Question 3

Should I buy a new or second-hand Hyundai hybrid?

Accepted Answer

A new Hyundai hybrid comes with the full factory warranty from day one and the exact version and colour you want. The trade-off is depreciation: a car loses most of its value in its first years, which a second-hand buyer avoids.

Question 4

What ISV and IUC does a new Hyundai hybrid pay in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

On a new Hyundai hybrid, ISV is normally included in the list price and depends on engine size and CO₂ emissions. IUC is paid every year on the same two criteria, and plug-in hybrids that meet the legal electric range and emissions limits pay reduced ISV.
