Question 1

Which versions does the new Hyundai i20 come in?

Accepted Answer

The new Hyundai i20 comes with the 1.0 T-GDi petrol engine, in Comfort trim with a manual gearbox and in Premium with a manual or the DCT automatic. There are no diesel, hybrid or electric versions.

Question 2

What does the Hyundai i20 Premium trim add?

Accepted Answer

Premium adds more comfort and technology equipment over Comfort, and it is the only i20 offered with the DCT automatic. Comfort is the entry version.

Question 3

What taxes does a new Hyundai i20 pay in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

A new i20 pays ISV once, at first registration, and IUC every year, both based on engine size and CO2 emissions. With a 1.0-litre engine, both taxes are among the lowest for a petrol car.

Question 4

Is it worth buying a new Hyundai i20?

Accepted Answer

Buying an i20 new brings Hyundai's full factory warranty and your choice of gearbox and colour. In a supermini, the price gap to a car a few years old tends to be smaller than in the classes above.
