Question 1

Which new Honda models are sold in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

Honda sells the Civic, the ZR-V and CR-V SUVs and the Prelude coupé in Portugal. All of them are hybrids with an automatic gearbox.

Question 2

How does Honda's e:HEV hybrid work?

Accepted Answer

Honda's e:HEV drives the car mostly with its electric motor, using the petrol engine as a generator. At cruising speeds the petrol engine can connect directly to the wheels, which saves fuel on the motorway.

Question 3

How much ISV and IUC does a new Honda hybrid pay?

Accepted Answer

A new Honda hybrid pays ISV at first registration and IUC every year, both on engine size and CO2 emissions. The hybrid system's low emissions help bring both taxes down compared with a petrol-only engine.
