Question 1

Which new diesel DS models are sold in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

The only new diesel DS sold in Portugal is the DS N°4, the brand's five-door compact. Every version has an automatic gearbox.

Question 2

Is a new DS N°4 diesel worth it?

Accepted Answer

The DS N°4 diesel pays off for drivers who cover long motorway distances every year. For mostly urban driving, the same model's petrol hybrid, plug-in or electric versions tend to make more sense.

Question 3

How much ISV and IUC does a new diesel DS pay?

Accepted Answer

A DS N°4 diesel pays ISV on engine size and CO2 emissions, on steeper tables than petrol, normally already in the list price. Every year it pays IUC plus the surcharge applied to diesel cars.
