Question 1

Which engines does the new Dacia Sandero have?

Accepted Answer

The new Dacia Sandero uses the TCe 100 petrol and the Eco-G 120 petrol-and-LPG engine, the latter with a manual or automatic gearbox. The Sandero Stepway swaps the TCe 100 for the TCe 110 and also offers the Eco-G 120, manual or Auto.

Question 2

What is the difference between the Dacia Sandero and the Sandero Stepway?

Accepted Answer

The Sandero Stepway sits higher off the ground, with body cladding and a crossover look, while the Sandero is the classic hatchback. The Sandero steps up from Essential to Expression and Journey, the Stepway from Essential to Expression and Extreme.

Question 3

How much does a new Dacia Sandero cost?

Accepted Answer

A new Dacia Sandero ranges from the TCe 100 Essential to the Stepway Eco-G 120 Auto Extreme, depending on engine, gearbox and trim. List prices usually include VAT (IVA) and ISV.

Question 4

Is the LPG Dacia Sandero Eco-G worth it?

Accepted Answer

The Sandero Eco-G pays off for high-mileage drivers, because LPG is cheaper per litre than petrol. It comes from the factory with two tanks and Dacia's warranty, and pays ISV and IUC like a petrol car.

Question 5

Is a new Dacia Sandero worth it over one a few years old?

Accepted Answer

A new Sandero brings the refreshed version's engines and equipment, the full factory warranty and no IPO inspection for its first four years. In exchange, a new car depreciates most in its first years.
