Question 1

Which engines does the new Cupra Formentor have?

Accepted Answer

The new Cupra Formentor offers the 150cv 1.5 TSI with a manual gearbox, the 150cv 1.5 eTSI mild hybrid with DSG, the 150cv 2.0 TDI and the 1.5 e-Hybrid plug-in hybrids with 204cv and 272cv. At the top sit the 333cv 2.0 TSI and the VZ5's 390cv 2.5 TSI, both with 4Drive all-wheel drive.

Question 2

What do the Tribe Edition and VZ versions of the Cupra Formentor add?

Accepted Answer

The Special Edition and Tribe Edition versions of the Cupra Formentor add their own equipment and styling details to the base cars. The VZ versions add power and sportier tuning, and the VZ Extreme and VZ5 add 4Drive all-wheel drive.

Question 3

How much does a new Cupra Formentor cost?

Accepted Answer

A new Cupra Formentor ranges from the 150cv 1.5 TSI with a manual gearbox, the entry version, to the 390cv VZ5. In between, the price rises with the engine, the DSG gearbox, the equipment level and all-wheel drive.

Question 4

How much ISV does a new Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid pay?

Accepted Answer

A new Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid can pay reduced ISV, because plug-in hybrids get a discount when they meet the electric range and emissions conditions. The petrol versions and the TDI pay ISV and IUC on engine size and CO2, with diesel taxed more heavily.
