Question 1

Which new Citroën hybrid cars are sold in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

The 225 hp C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid is Citroën's rechargeable hybrid, always with an automatic gearbox. The C3, C3 Aircross, C4 and C5 Aircross are also sold with a petrol Hybrid engine that never plugs in.

Question 2

How much ISV does a new Citroën plug-in hybrid pay?

Accepted Answer

A new plug-in hybrid pays a reduced ISV in Portugal when it meets the legal conditions on electric range and CO2 emissions. The annual IUC is based on engine size and the approved emissions.

Question 3

Is the Citroën C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid worth it?

Accepted Answer

It pays off for drivers who charge at home or at work and cover their daily trips on electricity, keeping the petrol engine for long journeys. Without regular charging, the battery's weight pushes consumption up.
