Accepted Answer

Citroën sells the ë-C3, ë-C3 Aircross, ë-C4 and ë-C4 X, ë-C5 Aircross and the ë-Berlingo, ë-SpaceTourer and ë-Jumpy people carriers in Portugal. They cover everything from a city car to a family SUV and large-group transport.

Question 2

Does a new Citroën electric car pay ISV and IUC?

Accepted Answer

No: every fully electric Citroën is exempt from ISV on purchase and from the annual IUC in Portugal. Companies can also reclaim the VAT, within the cost limit set by law.

Question 3

Which batteries do new Citroën electric cars have?

Accepted Answer

Several new Citroën electric cars come with a choice of two batteries, named Urban, Comfort, Long or Extended Range depending on the model. The larger battery adds range and, on the ë-C4 and ë-C5 Aircross, comes with more power.

Question 4

Does a new Citroën electric car's warranty cover the battery?

Accepted Answer

Yes: the battery of a new Citroën electric car has its own warranty, longer than the car's general one. It is one of the advantages of buying new, since it covers the most expensive part from day one.
