Question 1

Which versions of the new BMW X1 are on sale in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

The new X1 comes with the 136 hp sDrive18i, 170 hp sDrive20i and 300 hp M35i xDrive petrols, the 150 hp sDrive18d, 163 hp sDrive20d and xDrive20d and 211 hp xDrive23d diesels, and the 245 hp xDrive25e and 326 hp xDrive30e plug-in hybrids. Every version is automatic.

Question 2

What is the difference between BMW X1 sDrive and xDrive?

Accepted Answer

On the X1, sDrive versions are front-wheel drive and xDrive versions are all-wheel drive. xDrive gives more grip on wet or loose surfaces, while sDrive is the simpler choice for town driving.

Question 3

How much does a new BMW X1 cost?

Accepted Answer

A new BMW X1 ranges from the entry sDrive18i to the M35i xDrive. The price rises with power, all-wheel drive and the plug-in powertrain, and each version has its own official list price.

Question 4

Does the BMW X1 plug-in hybrid pay less ISV?

Accepted Answer

The X1 xDrive25e and xDrive30e can qualify for reduced ISV if they meet the plug-in hybrid electric range and CO2 conditions. Petrol and diesel X1s pay ISV and IUC on engine size and CO2, and buyers who want full exemption have the electric iX1.
