Question 1

Which versions of the new BMW 3 Series are on sale in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

The Touring comes with the 318d, 320d, 330d xDrive and M340d xDrive diesels, the 320i and M340i xDrive petrols and the 330e plug-in hybrid. The saloon offers the 211 hp 320 and the 443 hp M350 xDrive, and every version is automatic.

Question 2

How much does a new BMW 3 Series cost?

Accepted Answer

A new BMW 3 Series ranges from the entry versions to the M350 xDrive at the top. The price climbs with power, xDrive all-wheel drive and body style, and each version has its own official list price.

Question 3

Should you buy a new or nearly new BMW 3 Series?

Accepted Answer

A new 3 Series brings the full factory warranty and a free choice of engine and equipment. Depreciation bites hardest in the first years, so buying new makes most sense if you plan to keep the car for a long time.

Question 4

Does the BMW 330e pay less ISV in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

As a plug-in hybrid, the 330e can qualify for reduced ISV if it meets the electric range and CO2 conditions. Petrol and diesel 3 Series pay ISV at first registration and annual IUC on engine size and CO2, with diesels also paying the IUC surcharge.
