What is the difference between the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake and the CLA coupé?

The Shooting Brake has a bigger boot and a tailgate that lifts with the rear window, which makes loading easier. Engines, gearboxes and cabin are the same as the CLA coupé of the same generation.

Is the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake practical for a family?

It suits a small family: the rear seats fold and the boot is a regular, usable shape. The sloping roof limits rear headroom and tall loads, so sit in the back before you decide.

When was the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake launched?

The first version arrived in 2015, based on the C117 CLA. The second, on the C118, was launched in 2019 with the MBUX cabin and a plug-in hybrid option.
