Is a plug-in Mercedes C-Class worth it for driving in Lisbon?

It pays off if you can charge at home or at work, because daily city trips fit within the electric range of a W206. Without regular charging, a diesel or petrol is simpler.

What should I check on a used Mercedes C-Class in Lisbon?

City cars show kerbed wheels, scuffed bumpers and brakes worn by stop-start traffic. A workshop visit to read fault codes and measure discs and pads covers the rest.

How should I test drive a Mercedes C-Class in Lisbon?

Include a stretch of fast road such as the A5 or IC19 to feel the gearbox and steering at speed, plus some stop-start traffic to listen to the suspension. Ask to see the car with a cold engine so you can hear it start.
